Anti-NA antibody |
St John's Laboratory |
100 µl |
EUR 332.4 |
Description: This gene encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase that localizes to mitochondria. It is thought to protect cells from stress-induced mitochondrial dysfunction. Mutations in this gene cause one form of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson disease. |
Anti-NA antibody |
St John's Laboratory |
100 µl |
EUR 332.4 |
Description: This gene encodes an integral outer mitochondrial membrane protein that blocks the apoptotic death of some cells such as lymphocytes. Constitutive expression of BCL2, such as in the case of translocation of BCL2 to Ig heavy chain locus, is thought to be the cause of follicular lymphoma. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. |
Anti-NA antibody |
St John's Laboratory |
100 µl |
EUR 332.4 |
Description: This gene encodes a pyrin-like protein containing a pyrin domain, a nucleotide-binding site (NBS) domain, and a leucine-rich repeat (LRR) motif. This protein interacts with the apoptosis-associated speck-like protein PYCARD/ASC, which contains a caspase recruitment domain, and is a member of the NALP3 inflammasome complex. This complex functions as an upstream activator of NF-kappaB signaling, and it plays a role in the regulation of inflammation, the immune response, and apoptosis. Mutations in this gene are associated with familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome (FCAS), Muckle-Wells syndrome (MWS), chronic infantile neurological cutaneous and articular (CINCA) syndrome, and neonatal-onset multisystem inflammatory disease (NOMID). Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. Alternative 5' UTR structures are suggested by available data; however, insufficient evidence is available to determine if all of the represented 5' UTR splice patterns are biologically valid. |
Anti-NA antibody |
St John's Laboratory |
100 µl |
EUR 332.4 |
Description: This gene encodes a classical cadherin and member of the cadherin superfamily. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, at least one of which encodes a preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule and glycoprotein. This protein plays a role in the establishment of left-right asymmetry, development of the nervous system and the formation of cartilage and bone. |
Anti-NA antibody |
St John's Laboratory |
100 µl |
EUR 332.4 |
Description: This gene encodes an isoform of the alpha subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This isoform (alpha 2) is expressed in brain, heart and skeletal muscle, and the other isoform (alpha 1) is expressed in brain, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas. This gene may be critical in the development of ovarian cancer. |
Anti-NA antibody |
St John's Laboratory |
100 µl |
EUR 332.4 |
Description: This gene encodes a member of the NK family of homeobox-containing proteins. The encoded protein may play a role in skeletal development. |
Anti-NA antibody |
St John's Laboratory |
100 µl |
EUR 332.4 |
Description: This gene encodes a member of an antimicrobial peptide family, characterized by a highly conserved N-terminal signal peptide containing a cathelin domain and a structurally variable cationic antimicrobial peptide, which is produced by extracellular proteolysis from the C-terminus. In addition to its antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral activities, the encoded protein functions in cell chemotaxis, immune mediator induction, and inflammatory response regulation. |

EBV Early Antigens Antibody |

NSJ Bioreagents |
100 ug |
EUR 349.3 |
Description: Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), also designated human herpesvirus 4 (HHV-4), is a member of the herpesvirus family and is one of the most common human viruses. EBV infects B cells and, though often asymptomatic, it can cause infectious mononucleosis, a disease characterized by fatigue, fever, sore throat and muscle soreness. The EBV-induced early antigens (Ea) are among several antigen complexes that have been identified in EBV-infected cells. The Ea complex is composed of diffuse (EaD) and restricted (EaR) components. The activity of EaD is suppressed during latent infection. BMRF1, the gene that encodes for EaD, is closely associated with the gene encoding for EBV DNA polymerase, and EaD is essential for the activity of this polymerase. EaD forms a complex with EBV DNase and, together, they may play a role in viral replication. |
